BENNINGTON — South Sioux City’s cross country teams battled through two lightning delays and a rain-soaked course to put together some good efforts at Thursday’s Bennington Invitational. The SSC boys ran strong with three top 10 finishes to cruise to the team title by 22 points over runner-up Seward in the 14-team competition. Luke McGinty led the trio of top 10 Cardinals with a fourth-place time of 17:33.51.
