All three Star-area small-school teams will compete in the same subdistrict when girls postseason basketball play begins on Monday.
Seedings for subdistrict play in Class C and D were announced Thursday by the Nebraska School Activities Association, and Homer will be the host site for the C2-6 subdistrict, which will include Ponca and Tri County Northeast in the six-team bracket.
Ponca and Tri County Northeast will square off in a 6 p.m. game on Monday, with the winner facing the top-ranked and host Lady Knights on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The subdistrict championship game will be played Thursday at 7 p.m. at Homer High School.

Monday, Feb. 17 Schedule
6 p.m. — No. 4 Ponca (9-12) vs. No. 5 Tri County Northeast (6-15)
7:30 p.m. — No. 3 Stanton (14-8) vs. No. 6 Lutheran High NE (2-20)
Tuesday, Feb. 18 Schedule
6 p.m. — No. 1 Homer (21-1) vs. Ponca/TCNE winner
7:30 p.m. — No. 2 Humphrey/Lindsay (17-6) vs. Stanton/LHNE winner
Thursday, Feb. 20 Schedule
7 p.m. — Tuesday’s semifinal winners
