Homer advanced to the finals of the C2-5 subdistrict with a four-set win over Summerland in action Tuesday at Humphrey High School.
The Lady Knights dropped the first set, but came back to sweep the Lady Bobcats to win in four sets, 20-25, 25-12, 27-25, and 25-17.
The win advances Homer (27-3) to the subidstrict final Wednesay against Humphrey/Lindsay, who swept Ponca in three sets in the other semifinal, 25-18, 25-21, 25-18. The two teams play Wednesday at 6 p.m.
In other area subdistrict action, Tri County Northeast fell in straight sets to Elgin/Pope John in C2-6 subdistrict play at Crofton, 25-18, 25-17, 25-17. Elgin/Pope John will face host and top seed, Crofton, in Wednesday's subdistrict final.
