The Tri County Northeast girls and boys track and field teams finished third and sixth, respectively, in the Cedar Catholic Invitational held Thursday at the Hartington Community Complex.
The Lady Wolfpack won four events, led by Kiya Tornez and Bre Millard. Both medaled in the 100 and 200, with Tornez winning both events and Millard finishing sixth and second, respectively. Millard won the 300-meter hurdles and Tornez claimed first in the long jump.
Millard also placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles. Alejandra Hermosillo was third in the 3,200-meter run and led off the 3,200-meter relay that finished fifth, joined by Hailey Millard, Samantha Rastede and Jenni Olson.
In boys competition, Bryan Isom had a hand in four medals and won the 300-meter hurdles race in a time of 42.74 seconds. He was third in both the 110 hurdles and the triple jump and was joined by Jackson Belt, Devin Reinert and Tucker Anderson in a sixth-place time of 48.53 seconds in the 400-meter relay.
Thatcher Lamp was sixth in the 110 hurdles and third in the 300 hurdles. The 3,200-meter relay of Jude Ridenour, Alex Snyder, Devon Lewellen and Aidan Isom finished fifth.
